Mr. Matern’s vision of creating a cooking class here on the Marin Oaks campus has come to fruition!!! After many months of creative ideas being bantered around, lots of red tape navigated and fantastic donations from many members of the community, our first cooking class was held last week. As you can see from the photos, the class was very well received by our students. Not only did the students make marinara sauce (which was delicious, by the way) from scratch, but they very generously fed all students and staff the following day! It was enjoyed by all.
